Basically, a gag manga serialized in the weekly Shounen Magazine, the manga series has won many fans for it’s over-the-top, bizarre humor and is planned to gain its diagram into the U.S. on March 2nd, two weeks before the anime DVD release by ADV Films.

I had the opportunity to glance four episodes (each episode is 12 minutes long) and I was fair amazed and awed by the legend line because it’s bizarre, and I mean that in a pleasurable procedure!

“Cromartie High School” is about a school which consists of the roughest, dumbest and bizarre students around.

Among these students is Takashi Kamiyama, who seems to be a student out of plot in Cromartie High School.

A honors student through Junior High School, he was placed in Cromartie High School for some reason.

He adapts to the lifestyle of students around the school and writes about his adventures to his mother constantly but what makes him fit in at Cromartie High School that the other students terror about him is the unknown. Why is a normal person attending Cromartie High School?

The first episode introduces several of the key characters of Cromartie High (which includes the roughest students such as a student who likes to eat pencils, a student that most of the school can’t figure out that he’s a robot and a student who looks similar to Queen’s Freddie Mercury and is given the nickname Freddie) and how Takashi fits in with the crowd.

The second episode features Cromartie High School’s most novel but the student that Cromartie’s students peep up to the most, Mechazawa.

A robot that students mediate is an unusual/special human being.

Takashi and friend Shinjirou Hayashida (who sports a purple mohawk) wonder if people will ever ask him if he’s a robot but it appears that no one has figured that out yet.

These are honest two examples of the zany yarn lines of “Cromartie High School” and they obtain even better and more bizarre in future episodes.

The animation is well done and switches to a manga style observe to wintry anime style that I derive toothsome.

The English say dubbing for the characters of “Cromartie High School” was exceptionally well done.

Cromartie High School is definitely a winner!

With it’s bizarre humor and novel characters, I can’t say enough that this is an anime that you should not miss! Also, a manga series that you should not miss.

When I saw this was being released I notion Superman would finally be available in the same quality as all the other products in DCAU. But no. This is smooth going to have the two sided discs which catch scratched to easily and honest don’t seem to have the quality. I would have bought it otherwise. The one gracious thing about this is it is reasonably priced unlike the complete Batman and soon to be released complete Justice league which cost more than the individual seasons combined.

While this may seem like a lot of information, the only truly original scene is the fair identity of Kauro. The rest are about one to four second clips.

Before this came out, I knew there was four director’s cuts versions but I also knew that they were going to release two DVDs. I was provocative as to search for what was going to be on the second DVD. Here ADV really disappointed me. It seems to me that ADV should have released all the material on one DVD or got the rights to Demolish of Evangelion to supplement the second DVD. Something should have gotten done.

The directors’ slash of episodes 21-23 was something of a lightning strike, whole current facets of the legend were realized. Unfortunately, this DVD, of the last three episodes has nothing like the same impact. Even counting a more revealing version of Asuka’s bathtub scene, there probably isn’t 90 seconds of critical material. There is nothing that changed the overall meaning if the episodes at all.

The ending of Evangelion has always been difficult for fans. Everything promises an apocalypse and instead we find an internal wobble and an epiphany. I happen to like the ending, perhaps because the stories of fan disappointment prepared me for it. As he has done all throughout the series, Anno stays focused on the characters. While the film version, Slay of Evangelion, focuses far more on the chronicle. While less meaningful, it is far more affecting.

If you don’t have the last few episodes, then this is the best intention to remove them. If you do, then contemplate twice. Whether you are blissful with the grasp will depend more on your need for completeness. For me, expecting the same discoveries that Resurrection provided, this was a disappointment. Respectable because the novel was first-rate but offering exiguous to interpret the additional cost.

Both the acting and the dialogue in THE ACCIDENTAL TOURIST are sterling and highly memorable. Geena Davis steals the point to with her sparkling performance of a quirky, life-positive divorced single mom with a single-minded interest in helping Macon Leary to become more than a reluctant sight-seer in life. While this film may be considered slow-moving and somewhat dismal, it ultimately delivers an uplifting and inspirational message of hope.

“The Accidental Tourist” Hmmm… even the title of the film has many meanings. Unhappily married couple, Macon Leary,(William Injure) a proceed guide author and Sarah Leary (Kathleen Turner) have fair lost their young son Ethan to an accident. Each of them goes through the anguish process alone and thus, the marriage is quite uninteresting. They separate, with Sarah leaving Macon in the immense, old-fashioned empty Victorian house alone, set for Ethan’s badly behaved dog, a Welsh corgie named Edward. When Edward misbehaves, Macon objective can’t accept rid of the dog because it reminds him of the great times that Ethan had with Edward. So, Macon takes the dog to obedience school and meets a very ecentric young woman named Muriel Pritchett. Muriel is a young divorcee with a very sickly limited boy, named Alexander (Robert Hy Gorman in a very nice portrayal for a dinky guy) . Muriel pursues Macon, a sexual relationship ensues and Macon opens up for the first time about his sorrow for Ethan. There comes a time when macon has to choose what he wants as Sarah returns to the homeplace and wants to try again.

Amy Wright, David Ogden Stiers, and Ed Begley Jr. all turn in Amazing performances as Macon’s weird siblings who live together in the family home that they grew up in. Bill Pullman also turns in a broad performance as Julian, Macon’s publisher.

I apologize for being a bit vague on the reviews but with some well-known developments in the episodes of this third volume, I have to withhold it short.

Honest say that the “Le Chevalier D’Eon” storyline is starting to recall up some steam again and if you enjoyed the first volume, you will delight in the third as the storyline has received a shot of synergy and is more curious, faster-paced and action-packed than previous episodes.

The special features include commentary with the “Russians of Le Chavalier”, “Cast a Spell: A Commentary Séance with the poets”, orderly and opening and closing animations and my current of each volume, another well written booklet with character information, interview and script.

With the first volume introducing really frigid commentary (although a bit too distinguished profanity in my idea), the third volume introduces some really wintry commentary especially with the direct actors of Pyotr and Ekaterina.

Typically when you peek a commentary fraction, it seems a bit politically moral and stays on topic. I’m starting to learn that the commentary for this series will go on several tangents and ends up being commentary but also conversational, almost like listening to a podcast.

So, I found the freestyle side of commentary on this series refreshing.

The series is definitely picking up some steam in the US as people who are attracted to the Rococo era (18th Century France) and appreciate the series impressive cast and its utilization of fictional and historical characters.

Chevalier is unexcited going strong. A lot happens in these episodes. I admire the fast inch of the present. Some fair sword fights and scenery as well. And the Russia arc introduces my popular villains.

This Arthaus Musik DVD production is of a 2008 live performance in Torino. During the performance, the audience keeps remarkably calm, with minimal coughing. The aural component – radiant music – is at odds with this visual presentation, which includes many semi- or nearly-naked people leaping, gyrating, or writhing around the stage to picture – what? If you like futuristic sets with first-rate helpings of surrealism and/or symbolism, this production will probably please you. Symbolism is acceptable if one understands the point; if not, one is left perplexed, even irritated. Thus, in Act 1 scene 1; the camera zooms out to exhibit the monks on an upper level and a completely different setting below, which represents – what? All of this was wasted on me; I would have preferred sets in keeping with the opera’s time period – fourth century AD – without the symbolism.

The cast overall is a strong one; Lado Ataneli (Athanael) and Barbara Frittoli (Thais) announce much performances, though I found Frittoli’s prominent vibrato, especially on some high notes, very distracting. Stefano Poda’s production of Thaïs at the Teatro Regio of Turin is lushly staged, with rich costumes, impressive sets, appealing lighting. But the production itself falls flat, largely because this opera, whose account centers on the beguiling allure and fleshly attractions of its title character, does not emphasize that aspect of the legend. Rather Poda seems to be going for something more philosophically profound than a legend of sin overcome by religious conversion. We score the conversion without great evidence of the sin. (Where is Carol Neblett’s scandalously unclad San Francisco Opera Thaïs when we need her? ) First of all, Barbara Frittoli, quite a physically fair soprano, is given tiny to do to earn expend of her innate beauty. In the meantime stick with the audio recording of the opera with Renée Fleming and Thomas Hampson, and hope that the Met’s elegant production of 2008 (with Fleming) makes it to DVD.
